Due Date Calculator

Calculate your expected baby due date based on LMP, conception, or ultrasound. The most common way to calculate a due date is Naegele's rule, which adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP).

How is it Calculated?

The most common way to calculate a due date is Naegele's rule, which adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP).

Clinical Precision

While estimators are helpful, regular prenatal visits and ultrasounds provide the most reliable tracking of your baby's development.

The Calculation Logic

Due Date = LMP + 280 Days

For conception-based dating, we add 266 days. For ultrasound-based dating, we calculate the remaining days from the current gestational age to the 40-week mark.

Common Scenarios

LMP Calculation

If your last period started on January 1, your estimated due date would be October 8.

Ultrasound at 8 weeks

If an ultrasound on March 1 shows you are exactly 8 weeks pregnant, your due date would be October 11.
